Just wondering how far of a walk it is to the lake? Apparently you cannot get a 12' alum. in there too steep I hear. Also what is the camping like? Are there places there to fish from shore?
Thanks can hardly wait to go fishing..OH YEAH!

I was there last week..... it is doable to get a 12' down there but it is around 200 yards as grey1 said. it isnt that steep but the rocks are pretty uneven and loose so slipping/tripping is a definite concern.

I have carried a 12ft aluminum boat down this hill, and then back up afterwards. The owner of the boat was too lazy to help carry the boat back up the hill. So he bet the two of us a big mac meal to carry the boat back to the truck without stopping to rest or to put it down. We did it, we were tired, but it can be done.
Good luck in this lake. I've fished it plenty of times, and it's usually a big hit, or a huge miss. In October this lake usually reeks of death due to the spawning salmon.

Hi Chris, sorry I didnt reply sooner. Been away on fishing trips. For the 8' they are $1500.00 and that comes with the oars and oar hardware and no taxes. Well worth the price for them.
