my mom is 3000 miles, and a few time zones away, so I will call her on the wat to the lake....see you there

My wife is an understanding woman knowing that i have been looking forward to this derby and working from 50 to 70 hours a week for the past year.besides my mom lives in calgary.

lots of mothers would love to spend the day fishing with their family. for those that don't belong to such creatures, organize a second tournie, possibly in the merrit area so those in the interior could attend.

cagey, I like the idea of one outside the lower mainland but was wondering if Kamloops or somewhere in the Okanagan might be better. Maybe we should figure out where most of the active "Interior BC" members are and plan something central. I have not fished much in Merrit but imagine there should be something decent there.

some of the best fishing lakes in bc are between kamloops and merrit. while it is a way from vernon, or in my case chase, but it would be relatively close for everyone, incl the lower mainland boys. one lake that is very handy and has a ton of fish stocked, both koks and 'bows, is stump lk. we could try something in early june.
