Hi all,
I was at costco the other day and noticed a stand set up selling "lucky bug" lures a hybrid fly.Has anybody used these? If so did they work well and how did you use them? The stand is only at the store for a couple of days and the lures caught my attention and I wouldn't mind buying a pack to test them out. They are kinda pricy at 40 bucks for 6 flies so any info is appreciated.
Thanks
Todd

Yes, it is like a flat fish, I have a green and a red one, has great action in the water. Use as a wet fly on a sinking line and you should get good results with trout. But is it worth the money, I prefer my hand tied flies!

I was very disappointed in them. Some of the local shops were pushing them as the be all, end all of lures but we trolled them hours and didn't get a bite. As soon as we switched back to our regular gear, the fishing picked up. I won't be wasting another dollar on them.

lucky bugs are sweet. Buy them you won't be disapointed
