Bluefin tuna is so rarely canned (if ever) that this makes no sense. You want to save Bluefin, skip the cans and assassinate a Sushi Chef because that is how 99% of Bluefin is consumed... You sure you didn't suffer any lasting effects from your Hypothermia drill? :-P J/K
abe	Posted: 4/7/2011 10:59:59 AM Reply o'kay maybe its not canned. i posted this because i see all these groups asking for donations to save bluefin, what it comes down to is supply and demand. stop buying bluefin and save your $, dont donate to bogus groups looking for a hand out. and FYI tuna fishing in canada & north america is one of the most heavily regulated fisheries in the world. the use of nets is forbiden for tuna fishing in canada. bluefin are fished with lines in canada and as soon as theres a hook up its radio'd in to the dfo, a dfo officer will then board your vessel asap to measure and tag your fish.
