Trying to figure out what is the best anchor for a small boat? (10' aluminum Jon boat)
I have been looking at a mushroom style but not sure what weight? 3lb - 5lb - 8lb ???
Any comments?

I have got a 4kg anchor for my 12' and it works pretty good

for a 10' jon (in lakes) you only need a very small anchor. my boat is a 12'er and my anchor is very light maybe 2lbs. if that. i would go with the smallest one you can find. if your going in the fraser with you boat you will need to get a anchor with some more weight.
