Ive been thinking about getting a Jon boat or Spring Creek Pram, something small & lite to use with my electric motor.
Are there any local dealers? Any one have one or have any comments on the boats themselves?

check out the outdoor show on march 4,5,6 they have some jon boats and prams among other watercraft. great place to compare

how does a jon boat handle choppy water?I have a 12' v hull and was thinking about getting a jon so i can stand up in it easier.

Kelso have you ever considered an inflatable? I picked up an Achilles inflatable, it's extremely stable and easy to stand up in, and it packs up into a bag you can hike into remote lakes. just a thought

Thanks for all the input. I have been doing some research online and have found some great boats. I do like the Lowe 1032 Jon boat. I am going to the Outdoor show this weekend at the Trade Ex and hope to see some there. Maybe even make a purchase?
