Hey there I just moved down from the yukon so am happy to see ice off lakes before june/july.that said i got no wheels and am limited to fishing close to town whats the deal with mill lake as it's close to me...whats the hot stuff to use...thanx

Mill lake is one of the most heavily stocked lakes in the lower mainland. I would use the classic worm on a bobber or powerbait,you could also go with a wedding band. If you are fly fishing you can troll a leech around (i always have luck with a pumpkinhead leech).There are also bass in mill lake for them you can use jigs, topwater baits and soft baits.welcome to B.C. and tight lines.

Thanks for the heads up....gota borrow a rod from my brother,but am probaly hit the lake this weekend i have seen a few people fishing the last couple days so am hoping maybe a catfish or something along those lines...up north usally fish for pike,lakers,char and grayling
