I was surprized when I first started fishing with a spin reel that, counter to one's obvious initaitive, that the reel does not hang from under the rod!
So why, if it is the right way up on top of the rod, is the makers name, model, and other writings, the other way up.
I am sure if you check on some ebay descriptions you will find that r/h reels are wrongly described as l/h reels.
So come on guys, does anyone have a reel with right way round writing.
Wish the weather was a little warmer! Oh my, cabin feaver makes one ramble..........

so are you saying that you fish with your spinning reel on the topside of your rod and you reel backwards?

So if I get your comments right, a right hand reel you wind with your left hand.

Thats crazy and only a total beak would do something like that. Imo someone who is the regulator of a fishing site should have more knowledge than this. And dont erase this just cuz you have the power to. I have not said anything wrong.

Hate to say Gotcha, but I will. I know because you fish, does not mean to say you can read, and I forgive you all. New posts were drying up so I acted as a bit of a spoon here, but interesting enough has anyone read the link on my last reply.
And we are all trying to outsmart fish........
and as moderator, things have improved.
