Has anyone been up to Bunzten Lake recently? What are the water levels like? Is the boat luanch available?

I phoned the gate house number and talked with a worker and he said they are testing the turbines now and are anticipating a return to normal water levels by the end of the month.

You can launch a car topper in spite of the high water levels, and usually only the south arm freezes.Go for it!

My 12' Lund is no cartopper. I have launched my boat from the shore before and it took more effort than I wanted.
