The fin and coho tell me your emails and ill give you some tips for the alouette, im there at least 5 times a week and have caught my fair share of fish from some of the holes
Mr_Grey

I know what t0 use it's just always nice to know what others fin productive, dont you agree?

Isnt this forum for sharing ideas, locations, etc. If a small river is getting over fished, the onus is on the DFO to do something. Until that happens, I think we can share the river with others.

Fin: since you suggested this river is crappy fishing, I am lead to assume the fishing has been good and you want to keep people away. I assume this is from concern for the river. I support your motives, but disagree the methods. I will be heading up there this weekend

Was at the river today west of neaves bridge, nice little hole with alot of salmon holding in, some big fish jumping but i didnt bring my rod.
Mr_Grey

fupa: i was there the other day and caught one chum (i think)
while the other guy beside caught three on this first 5 cast it was around 4 o'clock he was using a pink hammered spoon that got very large near the hook side of it. I think he had one coho because it just 4 times but not sure he lost it.

Roe is probably your best bet. I get mine from Rob in Richmond, he has fresh chum right now. I have contact info if anyone is interested. His email is.. robsbaits@gmail.com
Mr_Grey

I've NEVER seen anyone catch a salmon on roe in the alouette MANY more fish on the pink wabblers, blue fox, and crocs
Mr_Grey

Just got back from alouette today i was there from 830 to 1130 HUGE COHO 10 - 15 pounds
theFin

Unless you got pics to back that up i call b.s. And I would put $ on roe over spoons or spinners any day of the week. Im sure most experienced guys would agree.
theFin

If you cant i.d. a chum then how the hell can you i.d. a coho? most likely a spring....
Mr_Grey

Someone caught 3 fish on a pink wobbler
Mr_Grey

You're allowed one hatchery coho in the whole river up to allco fish hatchrey and one spring from 216th street to allco fish hatchery. So if your fishing at say davidsons pool you'd be allowed one hatch coho and one spring. I'd advise not to go keep your limit everyday though the fin is right its a small river with a good amount of fish but is still very easy to over fish
