Anybody fish here lately? I drove by it today and it looked like a horrible place to fish; however, I see it rated pretty high on this site. Only a couple of people there today. Peg leg was a zoo along w/ sea bird.

nice sockeye hes a chromer. not sure the weight on that one but the best way to find out is to put a scale in the mouth. i dont way my sockeye but i think the most of them are between 6 and 10 with the odd few getting a bit bigger. i think the sockeye in the system rightnow are mostly late sumer run these fish tend to be a bit bigger than the early summer run. so i think we're going to be seeing alot more big boys pulled out over the long weekend if you can get out real early or find a spot thats not too crowded. nice fish and happy bonking ><(((*>

sockeye salmon: tail forks in more than coho, has white mouth and no spots on tail. for those of you that dont know
|
abe
|
coho salmon: has more broad flatter tail than sockeye, black mouth and faint spots on upper tail. most cases where theres coho in the lower waters of the fraser they will be very silver and going to be fighting alot more than a sockeye would.
