Doe's anyone know where you can launch a boat and park your car at Hatzic? I went the other day to check it out and couldn't find one . The boat launch on the map is wrong. Seems like it is all private property. Went to Hicks instead.

Unless you have an inflatable to drag up and down that hill in Neilson park you're pretty well screwed. I do recall there being a boat launch on Sward Rd which is on the NW end of the lake. Check Google maps, you'll see it's a vacant grass lot with a gravel launch. It's in a small residential area, we used to launch there and park the car near the ditch on the other side of road...but it may be private now or even blocked off who knows. I've read on another forum that the people around there are anal when it comes to people launching/parking there and have called the cops in some cases. You could always drive around there and check it out, talk to someone who lives around there and see what they say.

shook road just before bridge little trail on rite hand side go early to launch n park.

Thanks guy's -much appreciated info. The powers that be should put in a public launch with parking. Shouldn't be so restricted .
