Hi, im new to salmon fishing and i want to find out if it is better to fish for salmon from the shore or on a boat.
And can you tell me whether to use yarn or salmon egg sacks to fish for sockeye or red springs.

Do you bottombounce with the roe and wool for springs, or is it better to bar fish with spin and glo's for springs thanks.

Lol, just wondering why the river fishing folk get so upset when someone says they'd rather fish lakes to avoid the crowds. Many seem to take it as a personal insult. I prefer lakes myself, but if someone said they liked river fishing better I don't think it would upset me in the slightest....just curious.

I agree Fishn, I also enjoy the camping part of it, getting away from everything for the whole weekend. Cooking a nice pan fry you caught a few minutes before...

Lol, to each their own dumptruck, just don't fall in while savoring the aroma. As for leaving one on the bar, one more won't make much difference, the river's full of it anyways. Ever wonder where the Prince George effluent goes?
