Does anyone know what the water levels are like at the Pegleg? Is the bar accessible at this point?

THE WATER STILL COMES TO WHERE THE ROAD KINDA TURNS INTO THE DRIVE-DOWN RAMP WHERE PEOPLE USUALLY GO ACROSS. IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT YOU CAN DRIVE OUT YET, OR EVEN WALK OUT.

I went out on wednesdays and you can walk there now.

Yep, you have to come in the morning to` get a good spot.
People were flossing and catching 1 every 5-10 mins.
i caught my limit of around 6-8 pounds each.

I fill my freezer every year to the top. I only eat 2 or 3 fish but they make great fertilizer for my wife's garden.

i do that to chum and springs, i usually just take th eroe out then put them in my garded, the old lady loves it.

I dont think he was getting busted for that. Its pretty hard to prove that case. Its sad that people take their limit, go home to drop them off, and come back.
It would be hard to charge these people criminally, with out good evidence. And i dont think three other fishermen or so, would count for proving beyond a resonable doubt. Pretty hard to prove anything, unless someone had him on video camera catching his limit the first time which is very unlikely.
But going back to the same spot is pretty stupid LOL and taking more then your allowed is wrong. The main problem is that there is just not enough DFO to inforce anything anymore.

anyone know what the fine is for fishing without a license? saw a cpl of russian guys at seabird get busted for not having it. also dfo out at st.elmo too...

I'M OFFENDED BY A LOT OF THINGS TOO. LIKE THE IDIOTS THAT CAST OUT OVER YOUR LINE WHILE RUNNING DOWN THE RIVER YELLING "FISH ON!". OR THE PEOPLE THAT DRAG THEIR NETS WITHIN SPITTING DISTANCE OF THE SHORE FISHERMEN WHEN THE WHOLE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER IS VACANT.
