headin up there 1st week of August any opinions on which is best ?? about 4 of us goin can rent a boat just looking to get away and relax anything in the area you would reccomend checkin out ??

Loon lake is just past Cache Creek. I have stayed at both and I have always preferred Marigold. I have not been up there in a few years as the fish are all too small...I heard that there are new owners at Marigold so not sure if you will get great service.

We always get a cabin across the lake from evergreen the owners seem really nice. We pay 600/week.Its a great lake there, have fun.
