Goldfish

Hi, anyone in the Vernon area interested in, or have info on the 'coarse' fishing in the area ?
Awsome as the game fishing is, the odd lazy day with carp baits out would be good, or some tips on how best to catch the Burbot in Okanagan would be apreciated (unfortunatly extinct in my home country))

pinaus lake above faulkland has perch and squawfish.
i have never fished for burbot but i worked on a shrimp boat on okanagan lake and we would get some in the net sometimes. they would be full of kokanee fry and would have some kokanee as big as 12 inches in the stomach. i hear that you fish right near the bottom for them at night. they hunt at night and they hunt by smell and vibrations.

thanks for the info, sounds like its time to hang half a sucker on my hook and get the mossy repelant out )
I did head to Ellison last year to try, but got distracted by the Trout as usual
