Buntzen lake has canoe rentals which are available at the Anmore Store located on Sunnyside Road outside the gates. Call 604 469-9928 for rentals. BUT, check if the lake is open, I've heard someone mention they're doing construction work this summer.

There is a similar shop at Belcarra, but thats tidal. http://www.takayatours.com/contact.html

Cultus Lake has boat rentals, speed boat style. At Sasquatch park, there is normally a guy there that will rent out canoes for use in the lakes there: Deer, Hicks.
