I am new to fishing and am just starting to explore the local lakes. I was wondering is anyone could tell me if a small motorized (2.5 HP) boat would be allowed on this lake?
Is there a website other than this one that will give you that information? The section for Mike lake on this site does not say 'BT' for boats but says that having a boat is a plus.
Looking for clarity, thanks a lot!

Looking at the pictures, probably not worth bringing a motorized boat. Pretty small.

Check the fishing regulations, your bible to live by when fishing in BC.... It states "No powered boats" for Mike lake.

You wouldnt even be able to get a bout in there unless you carry it down to the lake and its a inflatable. No boat launch!

Read the regs!!!!!
"No powered boats.....boat motors of all types (internal combustion, steam, and electric) are prohibited in these waters"

Thanks guys. I'm fairly green when it comes to fishing, is someone able to send me the link for the boating regulations for BC lakes? Or tell me where I can buy a copy?
Another question, I live in Langley, any suggestions of a good close by fishing lake for a car topper with a motor (I have electric and gas)?
Thanks again!

Here is the link to get you started for the regulations:
http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/fish/regulations/
Any decent tackle shop should have some regulations on hand. They are free. The only thing is that they might be out as they were printed last year for 2009 and 2010.
