I'D LIKE TO START LAKE FISHING AGAIN, BUT I'M NOT REALLY SURE WHERE TO GO. SINCE I MOVED TO THE MAINLAND I'VE ONLY FISHED IN CHILLIWACK. THAT IS KIND OF FAR AND BESIDES, IT IS NOT EXACTLY SALMON SEASON. WHERE CAN I GO THAT WILL PRODUCE SOME DECENT SIZED FISH?

Go to Bunzten Lake. Lots of trout in there but I hear the lake is flooded right now. I fish all the time in my 12 aluminum.

Try Rice lake up in North Vancouver.
It's just across the Second narrows bridge, take the third exit off to head up by Cap Colledge, keep going straight up that road to the Mount Seymour demonstration forest.
At the top of the road is a parking lot and direction signs to the lake. Great place to sit and drown worms. (No boats or tubes allowed). Theres miles and miles of hiking trails and a paved road runs thru the forest to the Cleveland dam.Good place to take the kids biking, roller blading, or just for a stroll in the woods.
