pajeff	Posted: 5/16/2010 3:04:54 PM Reply After being introduced to FLY fishing last year I remain confused as to what constitutes a genuine FLY for the purpose of FLY fishing. And before I get the obvious, "It has to resemble a real FLY" and get into the grey area, what the fish can be tricked into believing is a fly and still qualifies as a fly fishing fly. (I don't believe I am trying to outwit a fish, but it is fun to try).
mojoman	Posted: 5/17/2010 9:59:37 AM Reply Hi Mr Jeff...in my mind(twisted as it is.. )fly fishing is using the line as the delivery method..as opposed to spin-casting where the bait/lure is the delivery method..some folk even use a spinning rod and bubble to cast a fly...but you'd be hard pressed to fly-cast a Mepps spinner...just my thoughts... if you would like more indepth info on fly fishing, cast your browser this way http://forum.flybc.ca/index.php?&&&CODE=00 mojo
