We were up to Jones Lake on Sunday May 9, 2010 and the lake is still very low. There were people fishing but getting a boat in the lake was very difficult. Attached is a picture of what it looked like.

I was up there on May 17th. Due to the very low water levels kayak, canoe or small car-topper is best to get into the lake, avoid big trailers. At the boat launch area stick to the dry sand! Watched 2 4x4's spin themselves down to the chasis. Needed a tow truck to get out. Fish were mostly south of the tunnel, around 30-40 feet. A few bites with flat fish.

Iwas there today. the lake is still low but getting in was not a problem. I caught 4. three 8 to 9 inchers and an 11 incher.they were hitting on the troll as well as bobber with a piece of shrimp.
