I have some buddies hittin up Vaseux lake tomorrow apparently it's pretty good this time of year when the ice first comes off, so i'll post on how they did

thanx for your replies,trip was put off till spring break . mcs did your bro's go fishing ?how was it ?thanx again'going up after the sportsman show this weekend,hopefuly try out some new baits n jigs

Vaseau has a population of bows and Koks....these would be the species to target this time of year

unfortunatly the kok population in vaseux hasn't been excelling too too much in the last few years, however there still is a decent rainbow population as trolling in a canoe with a little spoon or wedding band could produce decent fish, the bass are starting to move around a bit and perch still seem to be in the lake as well. Friends went there 2 weekends ago and caught about a dozen fishing, couple nice bass and a couple thicker perch, nothing out of the ordinary tho
