been up at sassamat 2weeks ago lots rain no one out on the walk way bridge on the south end, got lucky on the first day .had go deep by adjusting bobber stopper ,using worms ,but very slow ,got 1 nice size rainbow

Finally got out to sasamat lake today ! No rain ! caught 1 little guy (rainbow) fished for 2 hours with my little wal-mart boat ($20) I would have stayed longer but the three cups of coffe cuught up to me. when I got out of my boat I noticed I have a small leak and my little boat was half empty good thing I had to take a wiss I might have sunk!

i like sasamat lake. last time i went was early december. there wasn't anyone on the lake (not even the swimmers) It's a great place for a tube especially when it's a bit too cold for the beach go'ers.
this bit of sun the last couple days has made me want to get out there.

was there on friday - i didn't have any luck, but the guys to the right of me landed 2 in 5 minutes... decent size - 12inches, give or take.
