Some of the breeders you can tell by the punched in nose. They stick them in most of the put and take lakes in the lower mainland. It is a surprise when you are expecting 12 inchers.
breathinginSulfur

yea, and the fins right behind the gills are cut off and there tails are messed up.
Trivium

Some nice fish there man, I gotta catch me a trout in there one day.
breathinginSulfur

released the 2 pounder, tried to release the 4.5 pounder but it kept swimming in circles belly up for a good 45min so i grabbed it nd gave it to some people fishing near me... i tried
breathinginSulfur

went back there today, no fish no hits but people around me were catching fish so theres still fish in there. i couldnt get my spot back though...
breathinginSulfur

breathinginSulfur

lures ive been using.
breathinginSulfur

Oh im not gonna go there today my parents said wait a couple days, maybe saturday or sunday
Trivium

I wouldn't mind getting out there one of these days, considering the salmon run is coming to an end unfortunately. Gotta work though....!!!
breathinginSulfur

did you get that spot??? or was there an older chinese lady in it??? she was in that spot all day yesterday and wouldnt move
breathinginSulfur

yea that chick caught like 8 with her and her husband (all under 10inchs) and the husband would catch them then wing the rod back with the fish still on and the wife would catch it near the trail and they killed 2 and just through em in the weeds on the side I was like, WTF!!!
breathinginSulfur

psycho

Time to kick the crap out of some slopes.
breathinginSulfur

breathinginSulfur

no... i didnt want to create a fus or anything and I dont no exactly how many fish they caught but I know they caught over 4. now that I think of it I should have though... sorry
kelso

What you should do is call R.A.P.P. Report all poachers and polluters 1-877-952-7277 or #7277 on your cell phone
daver

wow, i cant believe how ignorant some people can be about other cultures. someone with the name europuma, who might not be from asia, but probably some shitty eastern european country, who cant complete a simple english sentence is trashing someone based on where they come from. it is ignorant assholes like you that keep racism current. i am sorry if you cant understand english europuma, go home
breathinginSulfur

Yo europumas deaf dude, right??? and I agree with him on the fishing front though, they wait till the hatchery stocks a lake and then they go and fish they lake dry day and night for there resturants and shit like that
ion

The bucket brigade...

It's not "some" chinese or "some" poor, but people who think: "do your thing, don't care the law". Bad education.
I understand europuma frustration, because you can see on lake asians fisherman breaking the rules while fishing with a group of buddies.

I am positive the ones that we see breaking the rules don't even have a fishing licence, and DFO should be more active on the shores of stocked lakes; there are kids walking arround and they can learn the wrong thing.

We should be able to send pictures to DFO to be posted on a web site, so people can see who they are.
pajeff

OK children, let's keep to fishing banter, and not this openly racist chatter. Put that somewhere else and keep this web site to fishing please.
Bert88

don't know why people would take those fish home period... went there with my daughter to get some easy fishin in but we threw all of em back, not into the mud taste much myself.
breathinginSulfur

I know right??? guess theyve never tasted a wild Rainbow, after that they wouldnt even want to touch one of those Hatchery Rainbows
Trivium

Yeah no doubt, the first time I had a wild rainbow I could of swore it almost tasted like salmon.
breathinginSulfur

yea, and ive heard rumors that once they get over the 5 pound range they start to taste bad. that is so totally wrong, i have had a couple bigger rainbows like 10lb range and it was one of the best Rainbow trout ive ever had. so not only are the big ones fun to catch, there also really good eating
Trivium

13 pounders?! Damn son... I'm lucky if I could ever catch a coho that big!! haha
breathinginSulfur

yea, im still waiting for mine
breathinginSulfur

You would think that place would be fished out, but it's been recently stocked so I guess there's still some around.
breathinginSulfur

they stocked like a the week of rememberanca day, but in fall this year they put a total of like 2000 fish or something like that. I was suprised when i caught those i thought the exact same thing u guys r thinking. This time i kept moving spots i went to the far back side n worked my way up to the good spot, but the good spot really sucked not a bite in an hour an a half then my reel busted n i still had a couple more hours of fishing but i was like 5 fish is enough for today, caught 3 of them on the smaller brass croc n the other 2 on the red blue fox spinner
marcozen

im going to green timbers tomorrow, what should i use? a leader? what weights? a good fishing spots?
