I am in the market for a new fly rod, just curious what you guys have or if anyone has a recommendations. I am looking for a medium flex.

I am super happy with my dragonfly rods, I have 5 wt and 8wt 4-piece rods that were $100 or so with a travel case. There are better rods out there, but these are pretty good for the price.

For a very fair price I have always gone with Berkely and been super happy with them. I go with a 5/6 wt and it covers all the bases. Another middle of the road price-wise rod I have is a Martin which in some ways I like as much or more than my Berkley's. But it really does come down to budget also, as to weather or not you want to treat yourself.

i gotta agree with both, berkly and dragonfly both make a quite decent product for a very reasonable price...i've had a dragonfly "kamloops" 5/6 for 5 years now and it's still smooth, no cracks in the eyelets and the cork is still holding up extremely well. I used to work at the Home Hardware in Oliver and me and another co-worker managed the outdoor department and i can't count how many satisfied customers we had with our dragonfly rods. cheers hope this helps
