ive been to harrison but its really wide
is there a spot where its thinner

The odd ones are coming through the vedder right now, caught a 20lb'er today that was really dark looking, pretty much spent. The fresher ones should making their way upstream with the much needed rain, which will help bring the water level up

Wool works fine, any color will do. You want to make sure to cast into deeper spots in wherever you're fishing, cause the water level is so low right now (in the vedder anyways), so that's where they've been hanging out.

Depends what lb main line you're using, 17lb works fine. I'd go with 20 if I had a heavy main line, but being that I use 20lb on the reel, a 17lb leader does the job.
