Well the herons always seem a bit laid back. Great photos, is this a hobby of yours and do the fishing on the side?

New to the fishing, seemed a natural fit after the canoe purchase, pics are just shot with a cheap digital camera, glad you like em, yours Heron pic is great!, so tell me how do the fish taste from Yellow lake?

Me too, started this year, got a rod first, then a boat.
The fish are quite edible but taste rather "muddy", things will improve, so I am told, later in the fall.

hey guys, funny story but true.i was fishing in august at yellow.no luck until i used my downrigger.35' deep and then i couldn,t keep them off.the triploids we caught were a decent size.just for kicks i went down to 90' and got one very large strike.i can only imagine how big this fish was as they were showing as very large on the fish finder at this depth.i,m going again on sunday and hopefully the fishing will be awesome.tight lines to all.
