hi guys, i'm kind of new to the area and still trying to find more places to fish at..
I don't have access to a boat, so I fish from the shore, but I don't have a preference as to salt water or fresh water.
Near Richmond, what are some good areas? Right now, I'd like to catch some pinks, but I also wonder if there are places to catch different salmon from once the pink run is over?
thanks a ton in advance for any info!

You can try go up to chilliwack vedder river. I just got one pink and one coho last weekend. Planing to go this weekend again.
I am using different fishing method then others. I am spinning and casting. And I find its not bad at least I don't snag it.

ah finally someone who doesn't fly fish. haha
nothing against fly fishing.. just when u just started fishing , fly fishing looks intimidating mentally, and for the wallet haha.
anyways,
some people have told me vedder's gonna get really hot in a couple weeks, may be it already is? i'd be using the same method..
Do you use spoons or something else?
And I've never been to vedder, do you have a certain spot you go to?

Heres a map of the vedder: http://www.bcfishingreports.com/vedder-river.htm
Theres also lots of articles on fishing the vedder that can be found through google.
For pinks, look along the fraser for any regional parks; there are some in langley you can try, though Richmond may be closer, south end of No3 road etc.
