Has anyone fished this lake? Would like to get some info on it if possible. Thanks

james lake is not bad fishing for small rainbow's, have caught 50 plus fish in a 6 hour period with the biggest being aroung 15 inches. if you dont mind a walk or a quad in lake try meadow or hereon lake, meadow is harder to fish but you can catch the odd 3 plus lb's and hereon is good for a fun day fishing, both lakes take no longer than 15 min to walk into, and thats with paking my pontoon boat in there. both lakes are accessible by taking the right spur road at the first y in the road. the left one takes you into james. you can look them up in the back roads map, easy enough to find.

I don't mind James Lake but it can be VERY moody. Tom Thumb worked well for me, but I've never pulled a big 'un out of there.
The road is gettin' fairly rough so take her slow. I've got two tone leafs on my truck an' I feel everythin'.
Better lake for me is McCulloch/Idabel/Hydraulic. About the same ammount of time (Unless, like me, you live on Goudie Rd)
