whats the word on yellow lake[outside penticton]productive? and any suggestions for where to troll...thanks

went there 3 weeks ago just fishing from the shore. lots of little 10-14 inchers hitting spinners and a the majority being brookies. There's a lot by the boat launch as well.

i goto yellow all the time pulled out a 16-17 incher on sunday released about 10 it's usually productive ...put alot of weight ona willow leaf flasher and a rainbow pattern wedding band w/at least 2 feet of leader and a little chunk of worm and u are in bussiness almost anywhere in that lake can be productive but i usually keep about 20- 30 feet from shore

yo..thanks...did a tour on sunday with my son...8...3 keepers ..on a green fly....have to ask him what is was ....biggest 1.5lb...his.....good day

got out last friday had 10 in the boat released them all even tho we a had a few keepers gotta catch up on my fish eating lol freezers got a few in it still so i wont keep em lol ...was at silverstar biking for the rest of the weekend ..another weekend for the record books ...yellow is before keromeos

Been 3 times in June. See reports posted. Last time was Fathers day. landed about 25 trout between 2 of us. weather was off and on. Tried a wooly bugger on lead core (3 colours out) and lost a very nice fish after about 10 mins. most fish caught 8-9' down on the shorelines. kept 2 fish. good luck, i'll be back in mid july

yeah yellow is busy but its a fun little lake and your almost garenteed to catch a few in 5 hours me and my buddy have caught 40 fish easy multiple times with the right stuff..the average size is only about like 10-12 inch you get into couple pounders every once and a while. its a good old fashioned stank ass lake (algie bloom it's like a swamp lol) that you catch alot of small but decent fish lol booyah
