Coming up to lake country eh! You will see one of the nicest places on the island! I suggest to you and your family to try Morton lake provincial park, fish at the bridge where creek hits lake for nice cutties, also Echo lake on Gold river highway #28 - not too far from town. Great fishing from shore and the lake restocked 2 weeks ago. Also suggest a walk in Elk falls park to see the majestic waterfalls, you won't be dissapointed. Enjoy your visit to the island!

The Anchor Inn & Coast Discovery hotels both offer pet friendly rooms, very nice ocean view rooms at the Anchor Inn, great for watching the cruise ships at night!

Wow you were right when you said it was beautiful. We got out to the falls.... magnificent it really was worth the walk. We didn't even get the rods wet son had allergy attack so we had to leave sunday before we got out to Echo lake but guess what that means... we have to go again can't wait at least NOW WE know a little bit of where things are. We did do the long walk on the waterfront and managed a few touristy things thanks again for your time next time we bring the boat !!
