one of the other posts says that sasamat is ice-free now. as of feb 26ish...

Just got back from both Sasamat and Buntzen and they are completely ice free. FYI

just after posting yesterday me and a friend went to rice lake brought the spinning rod just incase
WRONG! the lake is 20 inches of ice thick so ice fishing instead nothing for me but fishing was steady for others
was sunny cloudy back in east van rice lake was a completely a different story
