We camped & fished Beavertail Lake last June - up towards Cambell River. Beautiful lake and great campsite. The fish were small, average 12" - 14" Unfortunately the grad kids must have been partying up there before us. Beer cans and garbage and some broken glass left behind. We did our best to clean it up and did not let it ruin our stay.
We did a couple of road trips to Reginald Lake about 15 - 20 minutes down the road. Another beautiful spot with bigger fish. My group landed 2 fish in the 3 - 4 lb range and a few in the 1- 2 lb range. I wouldn't say we were slaying them but the fishing was good. No camping at Reginald. I am posting this from work but when I get home I will load a couple of pictures for you.

This is the entrance to Reginald Lake basically right from the road. Access is very good and has some good sized fish in the 3 - 4 lb range

Beavetail was definitely bigger. I fished both from my pontoon. A couple of the guy's fished from float tube / u boats and a couple had 12 aluminum or Inflatables.
Reginald was a little smaller but perfect for pontoon / float tubes.
