happy new year to all.back from oklahoma and hope to go ice fishing on friday.was hoping to get reports on local lakes.ie. yellow.madden,ripley,osprey,garnet and any other brook trout lakes that are close to penticton area.hope everyone has been having good luck in this department.anyways all info would be appreciated.tight lines and warm hearts to all.

Swan Lake at Vernon has been a good bet.Lots of guys have
been caching Perch. I caught a 3lb. Rainbow Trout last

hey smurfhouse,beautiful rainbow.have driven past swan many times,how is the brook trout population in this lake?also i see that you are familiar with becker lake which i heard has incredible brook trout fishing.is there good fishing in this lake??

flytosser.nice dolly,very decent for that lake.hope one day to get up that way to ice fish.dolly,s are very tasty with their high fat content.anyways thanks for sharing your info.and tight lines to you in the future

Hey brookiehunter, I haven't seen any brookies coming
out of swan lake just alot of Perch. Becker Lake was great
fishing for brooks, caught 2, 1-1 lbs 1-2.5 lbs.
Looking forward to another great season.
