Just wondering what you guys use to fish for coho. I am very new to fishing, and need a few pointers. So basically hook size, line weight, lure.

I am pretty new as well but what i have been using is a 3/8 croc spoon, colorado lure and am going to try a pink and purple jig.
I am using 10 lb mono line (i heard braided line is better for feeling)I am using a 8 lb leader as for the rivers i don't i heard the vedder is a gong show and have heard nothing about chehalus. Hope this helps, happy fishing

YEa the croc works pretty well, as for the river I am too wondering about this as I am planning to head out tomorrow, the vedder is lacking coho all season long so If anyone has some info on the chehalis please share

Coho have been in the Chehalis for the past 3 weeks. Spotty but they are catcing chromes. Mostly pink wool or roe. Slow this past week but looks like it will improve this week with the rain and the big runs should be happeing soon....Lots of fishermen moving in now...

yes there are coho in the stave. i don't know how strong the run is or when. i have seen some in late october when the chum are going strong. anyone else have something to add?
