the fishing is hot up there right now. this is a 3 pound rainbow i caught thereusing a gray and yellow flatfish.

that lake is one of the only lakes w/a salmonoid hatchery bred trout...lots of those size in there...we have a anuual derby there...nice fish

 I have fished Tunkwa twice now and have had good luck each time. I have been asked a couple times if the fish tasted muddy. Apparently with shallow lakes (19 ft .deep max. approx) like Tunkwa the fish can taste "muddy" ? Ever heard of that term? The fish I caught there tasted great I thought.
