ulstermanfishing	Posted: 8/30/2008 8:35:16 PM Reply Two guy,s from Northern Ireland stopping in Mission for a few day,s and hoping to get some fishing, salmon or trout, within driving distance. Complete novice,s to the area but fly fish in Ireland a lot. Any info about the area will help for the last week in September. Recomended local tackle shop,s will also help for flie,s, licence,s etc. Spur of the moment trip, hope you can help.
apex	Posted: 8/31/2008 9:10:51 AM Reply You could try the Chilliwack/Vedder River in Chilliwack for salmon. The run starts at around this time, early Septemberish, but is great in October. You will need a freshwater license and a salmon stamp. I don't know any fishing/tackle shops in mission, but you could try fishingwithrod.com for advice and contact info of some shops. Enjoy your visit to Vancouver!
