any one been out on the alouette river lately,

I grew up on this river and remember load of coho just sitting in pods, were talking like 50 to 100 on some days. I havent fished it in like 16 years, is there still fish ? I was told it is a dead river.

Hopefully it stays a dead river, from fishermen anyway, it still has some rebuilding to to for itself.
How about the Stave? Just looking for a couple hours out fishing today.

The aloutte is like the Nicomekl River in Langley/whiterock. These are fragile rivers that do get coho but i dont want to fish these rivers, I think both should be closed to rebuild. As for the stave, sorry i have never been.
