I have heard that there are a few coho in the hatchery and that a few clean shinny whites are in, but im not sure if this is for real. I got this info from Reaction Tackle yesterday, a few guys had come in yesterday and said that they caught ho's and had a good morning on the lower river.
Oh ya and not to be an ***hole but Freds Tackle store is not the place to go if your looking for customer service, Reaction on Hwy #1 at Whatcom Rd is a great place to get your gear and have a good laugh. They are a great group of guys.

Meat head that is freds that you went too, nice to see they made someone happy.
Oh and bull trout the guys told me it was roe that the hoes were hitting on. My homemade/cured roe isnt ready yet LOL
I was out there for 5 hours yesterday in the rain, it was pretty sweet but i didnt hit anything. I was tossing colorado blades and then half way switched to float fishing with wool. I was about a 1/4 mile up from the Vedder xing bridge and WOW is the river up from the same time last year.
I had a few big fish jumping around, i think they were springs, couldnt of been a coho. To everone thats going out, Be ready for high water and dont forget your waders.
