Anyone reccomend any good lakes that you have to hike into? Hopefully they won't be as heavily fished

Cathedral Lakes...Unbeatable cut throat fishing. You can catch a shuttle from base camp to the main lodge and hike to any of the lakes, or you can hike all the way in but it is a daunting trail in. Lady Slipper has the largest fish in it, but all of the lakes have plenty of fish that are willing to take just about anything you throw out there. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Thanks, I'm looking for hike in spots in the lower mainland, BC though. I think Cathedral is across the border.

ummm cathedral lake seems like a great place to go how much is it to hitch a ride, or how long is the hike? rainbows in there too?
but go to garibaldi lake , went there last sunday and the fishing is 10 out of 10 for rainbows . spinners work good , but even powerbait works on the bottum , me and a friend released about 15 of them in about a hour. average 15 inches , the hike is 9 kilometers up and is sure a nice place to be .no pics of fish quick release.

Went to garibaldi last year with my friend. Left the parking lot at 5pm (on july 15th), brought my fishing rods with me. By the time I got to the first lake (barrier lake, i think) it was too dark to fish. The lake had snow all around it. I would definitely go up there again for the scenery alone. As far as I've heard, the fishing there is excellent. If you're not camping, leave early morning. Watch out for bears, obviously.
