Heading to Osoyoos in August. Any info on the lake and its fishing would be greatly appreciated. What species is avaailable, area/s of lake to catch them, what bites at that time of year, what bait bait is successful for the waters in that area Thanks

Thanks for the info. Always wanted to fish for bass. hope the warm climate favors the fishing. Unlike in Alberta where the warmer the lake temp is, the crappier the fishing.

rodder008 - bcbasser is right, there is some hogs in Osoyoos Lake. 6 to 8 lbs fish are not uncommon. The trick with the is finding the fish and an area that isn't zooming with wakeboard boats. The north end of the lake in and arround the oxbows is a popular area the find the big bass. To narrow it down for you, big pumpkin tubes or carolina rigs are always a safe choice for this lake. Good luck...
