First time off-shore fishing salmon on July 2008.
I live in Richmond and would like to go fishing for salmon. What do you guys recommend? Fishing charter, fishing logde, or go by myself and cast from the shore?

If you wanna take a free trip go down to the capilano river mouth and cast spinners and buzzbombs, off the beaches. Coho and Springs are around there, wait till the droughts, or you can go and fish cates park in august, not much there this year becasue its non pink year, but ther ei sosme.

Thank you for your recommendation. Since my brother's coming to Vancouver, I might even hit my wallet and bet with a fishing charter.
It gives me better hopes to be on a boat... I think.
