so has anyone ever actually seen or caught a bass at brunette river? apparently they are in there but I fished for 5 hours today and only got trout and squawfish

Use bigger bait, like whole worm. Or dark colored jig, you will avoid trout and squawfish... But Brunette river is NOT bass heaven. I hate them but for somebody can be fun.... For me dead bass is a good bass...
