Chataway lake in merrit has some good small catchable, eatable trout. the lakes around it have HUGE trout, try Gypsum lake more up the mountain.

Caught some nice pan fry size a few were up to 1.5kg's pissed a few guys off letn them go only need a couple caught 10 total keppt 2.

c&r ing fish through the ice in frigid temps is irresponsible. ice fishing is a meat fishery and nothing more. take your 2 fish and go home next time

i just posted a report on alleyne lake. beautiful place with 2 to 4 kg. rainbows caught frequently. otter lake has the big fish only in the deep spots, and is choking with millfoil.
