Wanted to head up to Weaver Lake this Sat for the day. Is the gate still locked? Do we have to get key from the old guy in trailer?
Not sure what the deal is there now!!

I just tryed to do a search of weaver lake on google and I couldnt find much. What I was really looking for was the website I found a few years ago that had all the info you would need. Opening and closeing dates, rates, phone number to the guy in the trailer lol.
Too bad its not up anymore. Oh wait I have that guys number saved in my phone, its 1.604.796.1204 not sure if it still works but thats the number I used 2 years ago. Give it a try to see if the gate is really open.

i went up to weaver on sunday and caught a dozen rainbows. was lil harder finding the fish this weekend. gate has been open for a month or more, and the road up is just fine with a lil carefull driving if your not in a truck. seen a couple 12 inch rainbws 15 feet out straight off the boat launch. the fish seemed to have moved deeper in the water. my best success was in 25-30 feet deep water running trolls at about 20 feet down. of course worms were my choice of bait, but i did try a leech outta a fish that we ates belly, and hit a fish in 2 minutes.

Hit Weaver Lake yesterday (Sat)
Tempature was smoking hot!! & fishing was quite slow. Only 1 fish in about 5 hours. Didn't see many fish being caught period!
Oh well still beats staying home and cutting the grass

i hit that lake on sunday and caught 20+ smaller rainbows, nothing worth writting home over....
