Hit Rice Lake today.
Got there about 3:00 and five minutes later I had my first fish !
He / she ( I can never tell ) spit the hook right at the shore.
The rest of the day I got maybe 10 - 12 good bites on worms and a red trout egg.I use a small # 10 barbless bait hook so the little buggers manage to strip the bait pretty easily. But thats what makes it fun, trying to hook em up on the first bobber pull.Caught one 10" beauty just before heading home. I let him go and left the lake with a Big grin on my face.Great Day at Rice

yeah I was up there aswell on sunday. Flyfishing from shore, hit about 4 solid fish in 2 hours or so. Got them on a full sink line and #8 halfback. Just casting the dropoff. My buddy managed to bring in a salamander haha. Good day on rice....a tad on the cold side though
