Great fish must have been delicious. Where did you catch him?
Trooper 28* fisherman

Beautiful fish. Gotta love them. where did you catch it?
3fish

I caught it at the mouth of the Oyster River last summer (last day in July) the next day I was at the same spot and hooked into a 6 pound Pink, I was using about 3 pound test because I'm from the lower mainland and use to fishing for the small Rainbows in the lakes. I was using a red + white spoon.

Wow what a nice spot. I want to go camping there this summer!
exkamiflyfisher

you got an adipose fin on that fish guy?
exkamiflyfisher

just for the record, all wild cutties in the oyster have to be released...http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/fish/regulations/

keep yourselves updated!
cheers
Fishn4Fun

Dont listen to him, ur out camping and you caught a great fish for dinner. Your not going to harm the entire stock of trout in that system with one fish. Dont let him rain on your parade.
BullTroutMolester

come on guys, i wanna hear stories of huge cuttys gettin cought now.... just maybe i'll have one of those for you guys this weekend! HAPPY HOOKIN!
3fish

yeah but rules are rules, exkamiflyfisher is right, anymore fish with adipose fins that I catch I will release
Fishn4Fun

Ya wild should always get released but keep the hatchers.
fisher 696

Nice to see the info flowing and people able to make comments without the use of profanity or silly name calling. Well done, it's a nice change........
Fishn4Fun

Yeah really is, feels like the old sharphooks!
mojoman

hmmmm...its only rules...keep it its a nice fish....do you not realize the genes in these wild fish are slowly being lost...thats why the hatcheries were invented...to protect our wild species...while I'm just tryin' to explain why wild fish need released, you'd do well in the future to keep such comments to yourself...sure its a nice fish...but now the possible offspring of a wild fish has ended...and wild fish fight much better...best read the regs 3fish...cos if I'd have seen you bonk a wild cut I'd be on the horn to the CO's...and there are many who would willingly take it to a more personal level...just a heads up...cheers

virtual fisherman? just video games or what? who here is actually catching some of these beauties? lost a few last weekend, probably lose a few this weekend. lets hear about those fish, guys.... enough with harassing the poor uninformed guy that just wanted to show of a pic of a beautiful fish!
P.S. go fish the harrison... they are there!
texasbc

I don't think that informing the someone about the rules is harassing him or her, and if we all don't play by the rules there will be no fishs for the future generations. I love to keep and eat fish but if we let the uninformed fish blindly then what the point of having fishing reg. in the first place. so play by the rules and everyone as fun and a good-time.
