like the title says, i got tired of all the BS. did someone finally step up to the plate. or buy the site. anyhow who knows about fish finders. i picked up a cuda 128 and am wondering if i can use a m/cycle battery to run it. i will be getting a charging system put on my 9.9 i don't see the need to buy a big car battery. my intent is to take the battery off my m/c and use it. i'll buy a new battery for the bike. will it work or will it have a tendency to drain the battery. ed, you will do better to run your fish finder off a small compact 12 volt sealed battery. you can get one much cheaper and smaller than a motorcycle unit.

check out battery world. they have a number to chose from and also sell the small wall plug trickle chargers.

been using mine for three years - no probs.

Hey Ed

Your FF won't draw much from the battery, they use little power.

thats the help i was looking for. the reason behind the m/c battery is i usually get 3-4 years out of it before tossing (recycling) it and am pushing 2 or 3 years now so figure why not just get it over and buy a new one for the bike and use the one in the bike at present for the ff. thanx Ed
