i had i day of work today and had nothing to do , so i took a trip up to rice lake.i was very surprised to see a huge layer of ice atleast 8inches.it was snowing quite hard too for the couple hours i was there for . i made my fishing hole off from the dock and threw in a shrimp on a size 8 hook about an hour later my rod tip starts moving slightly side to side and i soon landed a rainbow drop it in again 10minutes later i start getting some tiny tiny taps until i got a big hit pull up but nothing stayed for little more but nothing. picture soon to come (i kept the fish the hook was way down there)

no sergio , not too far depending where your coming from .if you know where capilano college is, its pretty easy from there , going northbound dont turn right into the college just go straight about 3kms from the college but a 3km bumpy dirt road
this one was just 13 inches

I fish there all the time I live at hastings & nanaimo in Vancouver it takes me 15 min by car to get there it's nice peaceful place to fish or bring your kids to fish for there first time that what I did (also lots of hiking trails)(Nice fish)Here's a link if anyone would like to try Fishing or Hiking There!
