I'm not a bass fisher myself but I know a few. There's a club they belong to called West Coast Bass Anglers. I believe the guy to get in touch with in reguards to the group is Wayne Pretious (604)852-4294 # may have changed as this is a 2001 reference but maybe worth a try. They produced a bass fishing book in '01 and I still have mine tucked away. It has detailed write ups on 14 bass spots in the Frazer Valley.

go figure, another bass humper from back east.
lotsa bass clubs back home where you came from, but not here. bass are an alien species in BC and threaten our native stocks. do the right thing and club those nasty invaders when you reel em in.

bc bass fishing is un like any place in the world, unpressured like if you go down to whatcom theres lots of bass boats hitting all those spots every day when its open .plus bc gets mild winters and rarley see ice so are seasons are longer than say ontario that means the bass have a longer growing period that means bigger bass in a shorter amount of time ive got freinds that catch bass all year long successfilly so i usaly start around mid march early april ive been bass fishing for about five years mostly in the lowermainland my favorite place is a secret but another is good old fishtrap creekthis time of year i using 12 inch worms and shaky heads or tubes

Hi I am from Kelowna and I only know of one good bass fishing lake around here and that would be shannon lake. If you go fishing there you will be sure to catch something!
